9-day pilgrimage tour of Nepal

Today, you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu where our representative will be waiting for you with your name card outside the exit door. It can take 30 min to 1:30 hours to process all luggage and Nepali Visa(if you haven't got Nepal Visa). After you meet our staff, S/he will transfer you to the hotel in Thamel. In the evening, we will have a brief meeting about the tour. We will take you to a typical Nepali restaurant for a welcome dinner.

Today, you will be visiting all major Hindu pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu valley. The significant places you will be attending are Pashupatinath, Budanilkantha, and Boudhanath Stupa. Besides, you will also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square including other major tourist destinations.

Early in the morning, you will set off for Pokhara from Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, it's 200km to Pokhara and approximately 100km to reach Manakamana from Kathamndu. You will detour to Manakamana temple on the way to Pokhara. From Kurintar, you will go to the Manakamna temple in a cable car. You will come down to Kurintar before continuing to drive to Pokhara.

From Pokhara, you will take a morning flight to Jomsom. Jomsom is famous for its juicy apple and potato. After refreshment, you will drive to Muktinath temple from Jomsom. Although Muktinath is primarily a Hindu temple, it is revered by Buddhists also. Here gigantic mountains like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri ring on the horizon. You will drive back to Jomsom where we stay overnight.

After breakfast, you will fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom. It is going to be a scenic flight over green hills, rivers and hilly settlements. We will take you to the respective hotel after arriving in Pokhara. After you freshen up, you will visit few renowned Hindu temples including Bindabashini, Tal Barahi in Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.

Today, you will drive to Janakpur from Pokhara on flat terrain. You will enjoy the green vegetation and farm field on the route. You will cross a few major cities such as Chitwan, and Hetauda before arriving at Janakpur. You can add extra day for Chitwan too if you want. Chitwan is famous for its jungle safari. Overnight at Janakpur.

Janakpur is a hub of religious and cultural tourism. Exploration of Janaki Temple, Ram Temple, Ram Sita Bibaha Temple (where the marriage ceremony Ram and Sita was held), and the holy lakes around give your insight of Ramayan, a Hindu epic. Moreover, you can observe the famous Mithila culture during today’s tour. Overnight at Janakpur.

Today, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Though the second half of the road is windy, you will have a scenic drive through forest and alongside a river. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer you to a respective hotel. Tonight, we will take you for a farewell dinner. Overnight at Kathmandu.Today, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Unless you prolong your Nepal stay, today is the last day of the tour. Our staff will transfer you to Tribhuwan International Airport for your final departure as per your flight time. You will fly back home with sweet memories of Nepal.
